Siamo di nuovo in azione. Questa volta l’obiettivo é Mayotte. Prevediamo di atterrare il 28 Gennaio 2012 in mattinata e contiamo di iniziare le trasmissioni nel pomeriggio dello stesso giorno (ora locale). Teniamo a ricordare che non siamo esperti “spedizionieri” sebbene abbiamo cominciato la nostra attività nel 1983. Il gruppo é composto da IK5CRH Giovanni (il capo), IK5BCM Giovanni (la mente), IK5CBE Beppe (la logistica) ed Andrea, figlio di Giovanni BCM “il tuttofare”. Opereremo dai 10m agli 80m in fonia, telegrafia e nei modi digitali (RTTY e PSK31). Avremo 2 stazioni sempre attive, con due amplificatori, dipoli filari e 2 dipoli rotativi per i 10m e i 12m (costruite da IK5ABG Valeriano, un mago per la costruzione di tutti i tipi di antenne! Saremo ubicati sulla Piccola Isola sperando di avere a disposizione spazio sufficiente per sistemare gli shacks e le antenne. Ci auguriamo di sentirvi numerosi nel pile-up così come lo siete stati nella nostra precedente spedizione a Capo Verde (10.140 Qso).

We are on the way once again. This time the target is Mayotte. The expected landing is on January 28th (in the morning) and we expect to start the transmissions in the afternoon of the same day (local time). We wish to remind you that we are not expert OM although we started our activity on 1983. The crew is composed by IK5CRH (John the boss); then IK5BCM (John the mind); IK5CBE (Beppe logistics) and ANDY (BCM’s son the Jolly). We will operate from 10 meters to 80 meters in SSB, CW and Digi modes (RTTY and PSK31). We will have two stations always working; two amplifiers, wires antennas + 2 rotate dipoles for 10m and 12m. (made by IK5ABG Val; a wizard for building up of all antennas’ types). We will be located on the “small island” hoping to have wide space available to set up all the stuff. We wish ourselves to find you in the pile up as many as you were in our previous (2011) Cape Verde dxpedition (10.140 Qso).
